keep thought beside proof.
A strong opinion gets more useful when someone else can inspect what it rests on.
separate the claim from the object
A public page explains a proposition. A working screen explains an interaction. A traceable record explains what happened. They answer different questions. Choose the object that actually supports the point you are making.
keep the missing part visible
A beautiful demonstration does not establish that an entire operation works. Follow the path into the next decision: who checks it, what happens when the input is wrong, and how someone recovers.
make disagreement productive
Place the question, the artifact, and the next test together. A collaborator can then challenge a concrete assumption instead of arguing about adjectives. The work becomes easier to improve because the disagreement has somewhere to land.
